Last summer Johnny attended his first summer camp (which he loved) and they made sure that the children got to have lots of fun “sensory experiences” including combining art, sensory, and fine motor skill practice. I thought I’d share some of his summer camp projects so that on rainy spring days and you are looking for inspiration to help your little sensor seeker.
They cut up straws, ribbons, and coloured tissue paper.
These caterpillars were a fun idea because they first had to cut a bunch of round circles and glue them together and then decorate them. Simplest ideas tend to be the most fun:)
